Introduction and acceptance
These terms apply to all dealings between Little Squirrel (“we”, “us”) and the businesses that enquire about or buy our products. By placing an order or working with us, you agree to them.
If you have signed a separate supply agreement with us, that agreement takes priority wherever it differs from these terms.
Business customers and eligibility
We supply our products to businesses only, such as wholesalers, retailers, boutiques, distributors and fashion businesses. We do not sell to individual consumers.
- You must be a registered or otherwise genuine business.
- We may ask for company details or trade references before we open an account.
- We can decline or close an account if these terms are not being met.
Our own-brand denim
Little Squirrel designs and manufactures its own collection. We do not make jeans to a customer’s own design, and we do not offer made to order production.
Styles, fabrics, washes and details can change from one season to the next. Samples and images show the general look of a style and may differ slightly from the finished goods.
Wholesale enquiries and terms
An enquiry is not an order. After you get in touch, our team will talk you through the collection and our wholesale terms, including minimum quantities, pricing and payment. These are agreed with each customer in writing before a first order.
- Prices and availability are confirmed in writing and can change until an order is accepted.
- An order is only binding once we have accepted it in writing.
- Payment terms are shown on each order confirmation and invoice.
Dispatch and delivery
We give an estimated dispatch date when we accept an order and do our best to keep to it. Delivery times depend on the carrier and the destination.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Customs duties, import taxes and local charges are your responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Quality and claims
We check every order before it leaves us. Please look over your delivery as soon as it arrives.
- Tell us about any visible defect or shortage within 7 days of delivery.
- Send photos and your order number so we can look into it quickly.
- Where a claim is valid, we will repair or replace the items, or give you a credit.
Intellectual property and brand use
The Little Squirrel name, logo, designs, photography and website content belong to us. You may use our brand assets to promote the products you buy from us, as long as you follow any brand guidelines we share and do not suggest that your business is owned by or part of ours.
You may not copy our designs or have them reproduced by anyone else.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost sales, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Little Squirrel is registered, and any dispute will be heard by the courts there. We would always rather sort a problem out by talking first, so please contact us before taking any formal step.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Each order is covered by the terms in force when we accepted it.
